Getting ready for the military shouldn’t mean guessing. We built No Soup Sandwich so the people walking that road can do it informed, prepared, and on their own terms.
Why we built it
Preparing to serve is one of the biggest decisions a young person can make — and most of the information is scattered, dated, or aimed at signing someone up rather than getting them ready. We saw the need for one honest, comprehensive place to prepare: study the ASVAB, meet the fitness standards, understand the process end to end, and — for those headed the officer route — actually build a competitive package. That’s what this is.
Who shaped it
No Soup Sandwich was developed with guidance from people who’ve been there — former service members, reservists, engineers, educators, and a few stubborn problem-solvers who believe candidates deserve straight answers. Their experience shaped what the app teaches and how it talks: blunt when it needs to be, encouraging where it counts, and always grounded in the realities of the process.
What we stand for
- No guessing. If we’re not sure of a number, we say so and point you to the official source — we don’t make things up.
- No surprises. We walk you through the whole pipeline so nothing at the recruiter’s office or MEPS catches you off guard.
- You’re in control. Using the app creates no obligation to enlist, and your progress is only ever shared with someone if you choose to share it.
