About the Marine Corps

The Marine Corps is the military's expeditionary force-in-readiness — first to fight, built around the infantry but supported by aviation, logistics, and intelligence.

Jobs you could qualify for

Your ASVAB subtest scores (line scores) determine which jobs are open to you. Marine Corps fields include:

InfantryAviation ground supportLogisticsIntelligenceCommunications

Specific job eligibility depends on line scores, medical screening, and sometimes a clearance. The app’s MOS matching estimates which you qualify for from your practice scores.

Fitness & body composition

Marine Corpshas its own physical fitness test, plus a body-composition standard. Since 2026 that’s a waist-to-height ratio (waist at the navel ÷ height) — 0.55 for most branches, 0.52 for the Marine Corps — which replaced the old height/weight tables and body-fat tape test. Rather than quote numbers that change, the app lets you check exactly where you stand against current standards.
